YOUTH

CASA works to ensure that youth see the benefits of remaining in or returning to the region and helps them reach their potential by promoting existing programs and services and creating new initiatives where needed.

16-24 Program
CASA continued to sit on  Eastern Shores School Board’s (ESSB) 16-24 committee, a round-table of organizations serving youth, to discuss and plan for a reduction of the high school drop-out rate.

Community Involvement Award
An annual financial award has been created for graduating high school students who have shown exemplary dedication in volunteering and supporting their community.

Summer Employment
Since its inception, CASA has supported local students through Service Canada’s Summer Jobs program.
